Tata AIG offers two products for shopkeepers

Our Banking Bureau

Mumbai, Oct 17: Tata AIG General Insurance Company on Wednesday launched the Business Guard Series, with two products primarily aimed at shopkeepers. Business Guard ‘Jyoti’ and ‘Sanjeevini’ are packaged shopkeeper products, whose forms and directives have been developed keeping in mind small and medium-sized businesses.
Both the policies have pre-numbered and pre-signed documents.

The policies offer a fixed package of insurance covering fire and special perils including earthquake and loss of rent, public liability, burglary — money in safe/cash box and personal accident. ‘Jyoti’ is designed for small shopkeepers with sum insured limit of up to Rs 10 lakh and ‘Sanjeevini’ is targeted at bigger establishments and the sum insured is much higher.
