KLR Ind launches Back hoe loader

Hyderabad, Oct 14: The Hyderabad-based KLR Group of Industries, manufacturer of hydraulically operated drill rigs, has launched a new product called - Back Hoe Loader - a vital earth moving machine deployed in all types of infrastructure development projects.

Speaking to mediapersons here, company CMD K Laxman Reddy said that the new product has gone through arduous field trials. All the critical components have been imported from global majors like Graziano of Italy for transmission and torque converter, hydraulic pumps and valves from Casappa, valveoil steering system from Eaton and rear axle from Carraro of Italy.

A separate company - KLR Mining Equipment Ltd - has been floated to manufacture Back Hoe Loader, he said.

All the technologies have been developed indigenously, Mr Reddy added. With the launch of earth moving machinery on Friday, the company would expand its product and technological expertise through diversification into complex mining, construction machineries to meet the emerging needs of the domestic, as well as export markets.

It is also planning to set up subsidiaries and joint ventures in select overseas countries.
