Intel Pentium 4 launched

INTEL Corp has introduced its new Pentium 4 processor at 2 GHz priced at $562. The company has also launched a Pentium 4 at 1.9 GHz priced at $375.

Indicating that the prices of Pentium 4 processors will come down in future, Intel Asia Pacific director, platform marketing and business management, Chak Wong said that the company is working towards bringing the Pentium 4 processors to the mass market by bring down the price points. “Value proposition for Pentium 4 is going to be compelling for the users to opt for it,” he said.
