The company is currently scouting for possible tie-ups to manufacture watches and stationery in the country.

Speaking to The Financial Express, Indus Clothing director, Mr Narinder Singh, said: “We want to make Lee Cooper a lifestyle statement, not just a ready-to-wear brand. We want to be present across a section of segments along the lines of the brand strategy pursued globally by Lee Cooper.”

Mr Singh said: “We will expand our denim range this season. The worldwide upswing in denim after a four-year recession is also catching up in India. Lee Cooper is a premium international fashion denim brand and we will be bringing in a range of international new designs into the country.”

The company will also be introducing new product lines in the already existing men’s and women’s range. Based on international designs, it will introduce new fabrics like polyester, cotton nylon, cotton blends like modal, lycra and tencil.
