  Starstruck! indya.com to lose 35 pc staff  
STAR Group, which has taken over the majority stake in the Internet portal indya.com, has decided to cut 35 per cent of the latter’s staff comprising of 180 people. This is the second time in the year that indya.com, originally promoted by the Microland Group, has slashed jobs.

The third dimension: Pentamedia’s Sinbad to sail on Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network announced the launch of two 3D animation shows—Pandavas and Sinbad—at a press conference here on Tuesday. The two shows will be aired on the channel beginning September 8, according to Turner Entertainment’s general manager and senior vice-president, Mr Ian Diamond.
