CCIL proposes tough guarantee system
  The Clearing Corporation of India Ltd has recommended a stringent guarantee system for settlements of dealings in government securities and forex exchanges. CCIL has also set up two separate advisory groups to look into these proposals.
Cost of ATMs dips as banks expand network
  The cost of automated teller machines has dropped sharply by almost 50 per cent over the past two years as more and more banks in the country expand their ATM networks. CBI to probe missing Bank of Maharashtra manager’s case
  Bank of Maharashtra has handed over the case of a missing branch manager to the CBI. Mr D Chanda, 45, the manager of the New Alipore branch of the bank has been reportedly missing for the last two months along with his entire family.
