Fascel launches e-mail on phone in Gujarat

Our eFE Bureau
Mumbai: Fascel has launched e-mail on phone service for its customers in Gujarat who can now send and receive e-mails anytime, anywhere through their existing mobile phone. Those wanting to send e-greetings to their dear ones in any part of the world can do so without logging onto the Net via a computer. There are other features also like mail forwarding, personal address book, personalised short messages and address shortcuts. The service was launched in association with Saltriver Infosystems Pvt Ltd. According to a company press release, Celforce (Fascel operates its mobile service in Gujarat under the CelForce brand name) users from now on will have mobilenumber@celforce.com as their new email ID. There is no need for them to have separate e-mail ID and mobile number on their visiting cards.

Another advantage is that any one anywhere in the world can reach Celforce customers anywhere anytime, including when they are on the move. This can be done using any e-mail service like hotmail, Yahoo and so on. Celforce users on their part can also send e-mails to any other e-mail account using their handset. They can also receive notifications for new mails in their POP mail accounts and can also read mails in these accounts. "E-mail on phone service has been launched in view of the rapid increase in communication through e-mails. This e-mail on phone service would be of great help to those who are constantly travelling and have no time to regularly check their e-mails through computers," says the company in a press release.
