The store has used a range of stones from blue sapphire, yellow topaz, emerald, ruby, corals and mystic aquamarine, which are studded intricately into pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets.

Says Ms Hasneet Kalra, jewellery designer at Anklets: ``Our jewellery is basically a fusion of contemporary and traditional designs. We keep experimenting with the traditional methods used in designing, such as meenakari, to give our ornaments an ethnic look."

Her designs don't revolve around any fixed patterns-be it a blooming flower or a pattern in a sari or simply a figment of her imagination. "One simply needs to have a designer's eye, the zeal and the creative hunger to make almost anything with whatever you have," she says.

Talking about the affordability factor, she says: "Many people can't afford diamonds. My designs are a mix and match of different stones like rubies, amethyst, pearls, which despite being trendy are comfortable for the pocket as well."

The pendants, rings and earrings start from Rs 3,000, bracelets cost Rs 6,000, bangles range between Rs 8,000 and 9,000, and Jadau pendants (stone and diamonds) range between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
