Mumbai: Egurucool.com has launched three new academic offerings - the Advantage Programme, Smart Study Intranet Programme and eConnect. Announcing the launch of these products at a press conference, Mr Vivek Agarwal, CEO, Learning Universe Pvt Limited said that the company's online products were priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 4,000 per user and taking an average price of about Rs 2000, he estimates the market size for these online products at about Rs 100 crore. He estimates the total market for all of eGurucool's offerings to stand at about Rs 500 crore. Schools represent a Rs 50 crore opportunity whilst tuition centres would account for about Rs 300 crore, explained Mr Agarwal. The Smart Study Programme is primarily targeted at the home user and includes features like questions tagged for levels of difficulty and customisable question papers.
