Jolly elected IMC president
MR Arvind Jolly has been elected president of Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) for the year 2001-02. Mr Jolly is the managing director of Jolly Board, manufacturers of Fibreboards. Kotak Chemicals chairman Suresh Kotak has been elected as vice-president of the chamber for the same tenure.

HCL Tech Esop irregularity
HCL Technologies has notified the Bombay Stock Exchange on an irregularity that was detected in the exercise of stock options by an employee. The employee was also responsible for the Esop function. Consequently, 26,445 options which had expired and were in the names of ex-employees were exercised.
