During April to February 2001, EML sold 7,320 vehicles against 5,914 units in the corresponding period the previous year, says a release. Speaking on the EML's performance, company managing director Rakesh Kalra said: "We have consistently recorded a positive growth in sales and have continued to out perform the commercial vehicle industry's sales, which dropped by 12.4 per cent during April 2000 to February 2001 over the same period previous year."
