New Delhi, March 12 : Apollo Hospitals has announced a tie-up with Mayo Clinic Hospital of US to provide medical education to doctors in the city. As part of the tie-up, Indraprashtha Apollo Hospitals will conduct annual continuing medical education (CME) programmes for doctors in the capital annually, a company statement said."With the legislation requiring registration of doctors in pipeline, such CMEs will be of immense benefit to medical practitioners across the country," Yogi Mehrotra, managing director, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals said.
Speaking at the first CME yesterday, Dr Arun Prasad, senior surgeon, Apollo, said international CME was yet another effort from Apollo to bring world class healthcare to the country.
