Pagelink to set up call centers
Subscribers of pagelink a joint venture between Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd (HFCL) and Shintwara of Thailand is planning to set up call centers in the country. The company is also introducing value-added services including fax over Internet, international calling cards and IT-enabled services for medical coding for the US doctors.AmitySoft bags IBM ServerProven certification for YOMX
The Chennai-based AmitySoft, a software testing and product development company, has got IBM ServerProven certification, for its Net-enabled human asset package YOMX. The package helps to evaluate an employee knowledge base and to identify the need to upgrade their skills in new technology, according to a company's press release.
First MNC PC AcerMate E for Rs 29,990
Acer India has announced that its latest commercial desktop, targeted at the SOHO market - the AcerMate E, would be the first MNC product to be priced at Rs 29,990. It comes equipped with a Celeron 600 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM, 10 GB hard disk and a 14 inch monitor with in-built support for both graphics and sound.
Siemens Information & Communication bags Brazilian network contract
Siemens Information & Communication Networks has bagged a contract from the Brazilian network operator, Telefonica to supply broadband access technology. Under the contract, the company will initially install 15,000 connections in Sao Paulo by the end of December.
Antarix e Applications to host tech hub at IIT Mumbai's Shaastra 2001
