Private banks defer PLR cuts until Budget
Private sector banks will wait for the Union Budget for 2000-2001, to be presented on February 28 before any reductions in their PLRs are to be affected.

BoB on Tuesday said that it had appointed Gartner, an IT consultancy firm, to frame business and IT-strategies for the e-millennium, and a MoU to this effect was signed on Tuesday.
Jalan expects 8% growth in GDP
