GTB executive director Sridhar Subasri said here that the bank has signed an agreement with Infosys Technologies for the "PayAway" software as part of this initiative. Mindtree Consulting assisted GTB in drawing up the details of EBPP service as well as in evaluating the various software alternatives, he added.

Subasri said the EBPP initiative is the next in a series of customer-centric products that the bank wishes to offer to its customers over the Internet and across its other channels. He said even those who don't have an account with GTB can use this facility by registering online to pay their bills.
