Everypath sets up software devt centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Everypath, the US-based wireless application provider, announced on Thursday the opening of its software development centre here. This development centre intends to create a Silicon Valley start-up culture in Hyderabad, said Divakar Tantravahi, Everypath India managing director. The company is also exploring the possibility of servicing domestic clients, he said.Everypath has to its credit over 30 new wireless Websites including leading brand names like E*TRADE, Salesforce.com, Paytrust.com and Egghead.com. The company has tied up with industry leaders like Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, Sun and Tantau to provide cutting edge in wireless technology. With an initial investment of over $1 million for Everypath's India operations, it enables corporations and commercial Websites to mobilise the existing Web assets to Internet-ready cellphones and two-way pagers without reprogramming. For those who do not possess a personnel computer, Everypath offers its unique patent-pending technology which can translate databases and Websites which can be accessed with voice commands from ordinary wired or cellular telephones.
