Mumbai: Indiaproperties.com, the India specific property site which has availed of investments from News Corp and PassionFund (angel funding round) has entered into alliances with BPLnet.com where the site will serve as the property channel for the horizontal portal and BSES wherein Indiaproperties will post an online brochure of BSES to any developer who lists a property which falls within BSES' area of coverage. BSES' range of services including its ISP service will be marketed in this fashion to developers who list their properties on Indiaproperties.com. The site also plans to launch its GIS (Geographical Information Systems) capsule whereby the site can provide users access to mapping facilities for each of its listed properties in 18 major Indian cities for starters.The maps provide the exact location of the property coupled with information on nearest railway station, airports, bus depots, recreational facilities, markets etc. "We were waiting for the bandwidth problems to ease up a bit before providing these features" explains Naresh Malkani, CEO, Indiaproperties.com. The site has relocated its servers to India which has eased some of the bandwidth issues according to Malkani. The site has also launched a high end WAP enabled e-mail and scheduler service for its affiliates which include about 1300 developers and 3500 brokers all over the country.
Indiaproperties currently lists about 50,000 sellers countrywide and sees anywhere between 350 and 370 enquiries per day.
