Marketing start-up to offer Net ad solutions

Bangalore: Chennai-based Internet audience development and marketing start-up `bridge overtw.com' is drawing up focus plans to offer Internet advertising/media planning and customised ad serving solutions for the financial, media, branded and commoditised products segment.

The company has recently brought in close to $1 million from ICICI Ventures and is looking at setting up a media network in the main metros across the country and also explore the emerging overseas Internet markets in the West Asia and Far East.

Bridge over tw.com currently handles Internet advertising and marketing for close to 20 large clients including Amul, Wipro home PC's, Citibank etc and is focussed on offering the entire suite of services like search engine indexing, affiliate programs, transaction gauging and e-mail market, also with ad sales for companies looking at a significant or total Web presence.Speaking on the Internet advertising segment, bridge over tw.com CEO V Achuthan Kutty told eFe that the strategy was to offer an online marketing strategy that would function offline as well.

"Offering customer specific advertising through ad serving technology, media advertising solutions backed by in-depth online consumer behaviour is going to be our focus," Kutty told eFE. As per industry forecasts, the Internet advertising sales were expected to touch $45 billion over the next few years in the US and the Indian market as also likely to open up to large revenue flows, he added.

As for the ad serving technology which was the latest trend in Internet marketing, the company was planning to either buy the available solutions or invest in developing the requirements in-house.

The company has also entered into a technology alliance with the US-based Internet Profiles Organisation to offer its IPRO data service audit software services to enable online visitor tracking and profiling. Bridge over tw.com is looking at being a 35 member team pooling in over 70 collective years of experience in the media/advertising industry.
