Giovani classic range to come to India soon 

 
New Delhi: The Delhi-based Dhir Global Industrial Pvt Ltd plans to launch Giovani, a premier designer classic wear brand in India shortly. The brand includes high fashion classic wear for men and women.

According to John Davies, chief executive officer, "we see a huge potentialin the Indian market for high fashion classic wear and are excited to bring Giovani in India. With the state-of-the-art technology, quality fabrics and experienced technicians, we hope to become one of the largest manufacturers of designer classic wear for men and women".

The men's range comprises suits, blazers and classic casual jackets. The women's range includes suits with trousers and skirts and jackets.

The company has set up a manufacturing facility at Gurgaon in Haryana and is headed by John Davies, a UK national with over 25 years of experience in the manufacture of classic wear.

The style and design of the entire product range of Giovani, claims the company, has been manufactured in consultation with designers from Italy and the size and fit are based on the unique Anthropometric study conducted on Indian men and women.

The brand specialises in cottons, wool, linens, wool blends and superfine fabrics including the linings and inter-linings.

The company has a strong workforce of 450 employees who have undergone an exhaustive six-month training under the supervision of technicians from Italy. The school also imparts training on a continuous basis to its workforce in order to keep them abreast of the new technologies.
