Karachi, Oct 21: Pakistani rice exports are likely to slow temporarily amid a hike in domestic prices. But dealers said on Thursday an increasing pace of new arrivals would eventually pull prices down."The prices in the local market have gone up as exporters in the past few weeks increased buying," dealer Zahid Yosuf said.
"But the new crop has started to flow into the market and soon prices will fall," he said.
Yosuf said price fluctuations in the domestic market might keep exports low for sometime but added that the crop was good and world demand was also likely to improve.
