Air strikes on Kargil push rupee, Sensex down
The bombardment by IAF fighters at Kargil echoed as far as Dalal Street and the forex markets with both Sensex and rupee losing ground. The BSE Sensex nosedived 86.78 points. While the rupee went to an intra-day low of 42.8450 against the dollar.
