Floods recede in bruised Surat town

Ahmedabad, Sept 18: The intensity of the flash flood in Surat reduced on Friday. But, several industrial units, including the 645mw NTPC power plant, Kribhco fertiliser plant, Gujarat Gas, ONGC and IOC installations, and Hazira-Bijapur-Jagdishpur (HBJ) pipeline, remained shut as they were submerged.
