Pru-Bache Australian arm eyes French suitor
Merger discussions between the Australian stockbroking arms of Banque Nationale de Paris and Prudential-Bache Securities are well advanced with an announcement expected sooner rather than later.
Delphi Automotive to set up interior and lighting unit
The $31.4 billion Delphi Automotive Systems of the US plans to set up its interior and lighting division in India. The new division, which accounts for a worldwide revenue of $4.5 billion, will offer auto components related to interior and lighting equipment.
Dabur India ropes in Cadbury's marketing chief
Dabur India is on a high drive to completely professionalise its management cadres for running its restructured businesses. It has got the Cadbury's marketing and sales director Deepak Sethi to head one of its key strategic business units (SBUs). Sethi will head the healthcare SBU.
