UK firm lines up Rs 700 cr to fund infotech takeovers
The British FI Group Plc plans to invest around Rs 700 crore in the country. The amount, to be deployed over three years, will fund new acquisitions and projects in the local market.
NHPC to float fresh tenders for Chamera project
The state-run National Hydroelectric Power Corporation has now decided to scrap the earlier bids and float fresh global tenders for the Rs 2,000-crore 300 MW Chamera stage II project.
Thermax, AlliedSignal enter pact
Thermax has entered into a strategic alliance with US-based AlliedSignal Power Systems for marketing micro-turbine based power systems in India. Thermax will have exclusive rights to market and service the product in India.
