Tata Honeywell bags orders worth Rs 90 cr

OUR CORPORATE BUREAU
PUNE, Feb 12: Tata Honeywell Ltd (THL) has recently secured orders worth Rs 90 crore from the public sector Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) and Hindustan Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (HPCL).

For the first time in India, THL will excute a turnkey contract for off-site automation of HPCL's oil movement and storage systems (OM&S) at its Mahul refinery. Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding with Tata Honeywell under the terms of which all lumpsum turnkey contractors of HPL will procure their distributed control systems and smart transmitters from Tata Honeywell. The two orders will ensure that THL maintains its market leadership in the domestic petrochemicals and refining industry, a statement issued by the company notes.
