Yuvraj Singh Wedding Ceremony Photos: Iconic cricketer Yuvi’s long innings as a bachelor came to an end today – bowled by fair damsel Hazel Keech! The couple tied the knot today at the Fatehgarh Sahib gurdwara. The venue, which is located roughly 40 kms away from Chandigarh, was chosen by Yuvraj’s mother Shabnam Singh. The newlyweds wore colour coordinated maroon-and-golden outfits. The blushing bride wore a deep red lehenga with intricate golden embroidery and pink sleeves. Yuvi was a particularly handsome dulha in a velvet sherwani, which he paired with a maroon padgi and jooti. He was accompanied into the gurugwara with his mother, friends and relatives.
Yuvraj earlier shared a pic on Instagram, in which he looked quite dazed in his wedding outfit. But if you thought the groom was having last-minute wedding jitters, rest easy. He captioned the photo, “It’s time!” So clearly, he was more excited about the event than probably all his fans combined.
According to a report in the Indian Express, the gurudwara wedding was low-key with only the couple’s closest friends and family in attendance. The build-up to the wedding has been grand in deed with the Indian cricket team and several other members of the cricket fraternity turning up at the sangeet. The couple will also have a Hindu wedding, which will take place on December 2 in Goa.
