Kapil Sharma started his career with various laughter shows and later landed up with his first solo show Comedy Night With Kapil which aired on Colors TV and then shifted to Sony TV to host his current show The Kapil Sharma Show. Recently, we have been hearing a lot of rumours regarding the falling TRP of TKSS. A lot of issues related to various artists like Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra leaving the show and Kapil’s falling health has come to the public eye. In between all these rumours, Sumona Chakravarti recently revealed the reason behind Kapil’s degrading health, reports The Indian Express.
Sumona Chakravarti, who has been a part of TKSS ever since its beginning, is certainly the best person to talk to about any rumour related to the show. She revealed some shocking insider information about Kapil Sharma’s frequent cancellations of shootings due to his health, in an interview with Pinkvilla. Kapil’s health has become a major concern for his fans as we have been continuously hearing a lot of buzz over his degrading condition and also about his tiffs with co-hosts. In the interview, Sumona revealed that Kapil has been undergoing a lot of pressure due to the falling TRPs of the show. Quoting Sumona, The Indian Express reported, “Yes, his (Kapil’s) health has not been very good and the name of the show is Kapil Sharma. Unfortunately, he is under a lot of pressure and that’s fair enough.”
She also said that Kapil has not kept anybody waiting and when someone claims he is sick, it is but obviously genuine. She added, “We all have our ups and downs in terms of health. It happens, sometimes you can’t even afford to fall sick but the body does take a toll so it’s okay, and not like he kept anyone waiting and everybody understands when someone is sick, it’s genuine,” reported IE.
According to The Indian Express, recently, when the team of Mubarakan came on the show, Kapil could not go for the shoot and he had to cancel it due to his health. However, he seems to have come back and re-shot the episode with the Mubarakan team.
