Tiger Zinda Hai Box office Collection Day 16: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is continuing to do well not only in India but abroad as well. The Ali Abbas Zafar directed movie has so far collected Rs over Rs 300 crore till now in India alone. While the film has collected $10,772 (Rs 6.82 lakhs) from 13 screens in the US, in New Zealand the film has earned $9,797 (Rs 6.20 lakhs) from 14 screens. The film has been released on 1100 screens overseas.
Till January 5, the movie earned $5.203 million from USA-Canada markets. It also earned $1.989 from the UK and $6.002 million from the UAE-GCC on the same day, noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted recently.
The success of the film has shown how Salman Khan’s fan base has increased over the years. After TZH crossed Rs 300 crore mark it became his third film to reach the milestone since Sultan (2016) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) which earned Rs 300.45 crore and Rs 320.34 crore respectively.
Earlier, thanking his fans for movie’s success, Salman Khan said in a statement, “For us, it is the audience’s love and reactions that matter the most, and we feel overwhelmed with the love that Tiger Zinda Hai has garnered.”
“I am grateful to one and all for treating this film as their own, the response has been truly endearing. Tiger Zinda Hai is my second film with Ali Abbas Zafar, and I am looking forward to working with him again,” he added.
In 2016, Aamir Khan’s Dangal was one of the highest grosser with a lifetime earning of Rs 387 crore in 11 weeks. With Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai continues to dominate the Bollywood, it is yet to be seen whether the filmsurpassesDangal’s domestic box office collection. With the way film is attracting the audience to theatres this doesn’t seem to be difficult.
A sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, in this movie, Salman Khan plays the role of a spy and Katrina performing action sequences. She is seen performing martial arts. Both actors who have worked together after five years have given superb performances. The film is full action-sequence and romantic songs.
