In the last couple of years, Aamir Khan has made a new market for himself – China. Yes, that is right! The Bollywood superstar’s PK and Dangal performed exceptionally well in China, breaking many records. And, his latest release Secret Superstar bettered those records at the Chinese box office, minting over Rs 100 crore in just two days. Following in his footsteps, Tiger Zinda Hai actor Salman Khan is also set to make his debut in the Chinese market. Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is set to release in Chinese theatres on March 2, 2018. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news and also posted the Chinese poster of Kabir Khan’s film.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan stars Salman Khan and Harshaali Malhotra and is based on the India-Pakistan relationship. It narrates the story of an Indian man who puts his life at stake to safely hand over a Pakistani deaf and mute child to her parents. It also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan in key roles.

Bajrangi Bhaaijan was a huge hit in India and will release in China three years after its worldwide release. The movie will be released in 8000 screens during the Chinese Lantern Festival. The film was a critical and commercial success in India. Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s lifetime collection was a massive Rs 320.34 crore.
Meanwhile, after collecting a massive USD 6.79 million [Rs 43.35 cr] on its opening day, the business of Secret Superstar saw another USD 10.49 million (Rs 66.95 cr) coming in on Day 2. Now, on its third day running in China, the film has managed to rake in USD 9.80 million (Rs 62.68 cr). With this, the Opening weekend collections of Secret Superstar at the Chinese box office are currently pegged at a staggering USD 27.17 million (Rs 173.82 cr).
