One of the two missing actors has finally been found. The actors went missing after they jumped from chopper into Thippagondanahalli Reservoir on Monday as they were performing a stunt scene. In a clip released by ANI, the three actors were seen jumping into the lake for a sequence in the movie.

Anil, Raghav Uday and Vijay jumped from the chopper into the lake during the shooting, tragically, a motorboat stationed on the banks to pull the actors out of the water developed a last-minute snag and remained ashore.

When the actors realised that they were in trouble, they tried to save themselves but only Vijay managed to swim to the shore while Anil and Uday couldn’t be traced. Now, Uday has been found while Anil is still missing.

The tragedy triggered a countrywide outrage and raised questions about the security measure during stunt scenes. Actor Sonu Sood said that in India, there are not enough measures to ensure an actor’s safety. “I feel so bad. I watched the videos. It’s pure negligence and I can’t believe people can be this negligent that two stuntmen were diving and they were saying that they didn’t know how to swim. They didn’t have the safety measures, he said. Sonu further said, “It is high time we got on our toes and adopt safety measures. If an actor is not taken care of, who will take care of the stuntman? No excuses. Strict action should be taken.”
