Television star Angela Raiola, also known as Big Ang, has passed away at the age of 55, after losing the battle with cancer.
Her representative Jennifer Graziano has released a statement on the behalf of the family that read Raiola passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at 3:01 am on 18 February, E! Online reported.
Her rep continued that her heart is broken for her whole family, especially for her children and grandchildren, adding that her presence brought sheer happiness to anyone that was around her and she was honoured to have called her a friend.
The statement posted on Twitter read as, “It is with sad regret that we inform you that at 3:01 a.m. Angelia Raiola peacefully ended her battle with cancer, and was called home. She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and the closest friends. YOU, (her fans) were some of the most special people in the world, and she loved you immensely. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unconditional support of Angela right to the very end.”
The TV star died from complications of cancer in a hospital after she contracted pneumonia.
Raiola is survived by her daughter, son and grandchildren.
