Poster Boys box office collection Day 2: The directorial debut of actor Shreyas Talpade, saw a very slow start at the box office on the day of its release. The movie could only make Rs 1.75 crore at the box office on Day 1. However, the film registered a slight growth on second day and garnered Rs 2.40 cr on Saturday. As of now the total box office collection made by the film stood at Rs 4.15 cr. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “#PosterBoys shows an upward trend on Day 2… Witnesses 37.14% growth… Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 2.40 cr. Total: ₹ 4.15 cr. India biz.” According to Adarsh, the growth has been 37.14 percent which is pretty neat as the film is essentially a single screen theatre one.

The film which stars Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, marks a reunion of the actors on screen after Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 in 2013. The film, which released alongside Arjun Rampal’s Daddy, is a remake of the Marathi film Poshter Boyz. Both the Deol brothers enjoy a strong fan base in the northern side of the country and hence it is expected that the film would do better in coming days.
The film is based on a classic confusion. The better halves of the lead actors left confused and angry at seeing their partners on a poster promoting vasectomy and the way they react leave the ‘poster boyz’ in a mess they have not even created. Where Shreyas Talpade and Boddy Deal are quite entertaining in the film, Sunny Deol too is seen trying his best to fit in the comic role. Ashwini Kalsekar’s performance too catches the eye and stands out.
