Now that the splendid Sultan effect has worn off, we’re craving to see Salman Khan in his next film, which is Kabir Khan’s Tubelight. While the film will be released some time next year, the director released some photos of Salman on the sets of the film. Salman’s clearly in the middle of a dance sequence in the colourful pics, surrounded by many other people, so we’re guessing it’s one of those community song sequences. He’s sporting a blue shirt, sleeveless red sweater and brown pants in the photos – a look that’s very similar to his Bajrangi Bhaijaan avatar. “Shooting a happy song,” Kabir has captioned the pic, but Bhai’s expression is enough to tell us that the song is a catchy one.
In another photo, Kabil shared a photo of himself with the film’s leading lady, played by Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. He captioned it, “And It’s a film wrap for the beautiful @zhuzhuclubheaven . We will miss you… #tubelight #behindthescenes #Eid2017.”
According to a report in DNA, Salman, who is currently back to his hosting duties on the tenth season of Bigg Boss, was in Mumbai recently to shoot a song sequence for the film. The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor, who is also producing this latest project, shared another photo from the same shoot on Twitter today. Kabir has been quite active on social media while sharing behind-the-scenes photos from Tubelight. Earlier, Kabir shared some photos of Salman Khan in his Tubelight getup against the scenic backdrop of a river and a forest and before that
Tubelight is a historical film, based on the 1962 Sino-Indian War. It follows the story of Salman Khan’s character who falls in love with a girl from China. Kabir and Salman had previously worked together on the hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
