Actress Saoirse Ronan is all set to star in actress Greta Gerwig’s writing and directorial debut.
The 21-year-old Oscar-nominated actress will play a high school senior, spending her last year at home in Sacramento, reported Deadline.
Scott Rudin, Eli Bush and Evelyn O’Neill are producing the film.
Saoirse has received much recognition for her acting roles in her short career.
The Irish star nabbed Golden Globe, BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations for ‘Brooklyn’ in which she portrays a young Irish woman who emigrates to New York City in the early 1950s, and she was one of the youngest people to ever receive an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, for her performance in the 2007 drama ‘Atonement’.
