Veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Bhoomi, has suffered an injury while shooting for an action scene for the climax of the movie. However, the 57-year old actor, who is making a come back into films, has made sure that his film does not suffer any delays because of the same and despite being hurt, the actor has continued shooting for the film. In a report published by The Indian Express, a source close to Dutt’s team had said, “Sanjay sir was shooting for an action sequence. Basically, we are heading for a climax scene which will be shot in the different locations.”
He further said that the team was in Chambal for this particular climax sequence. Dutt was fighting some goons who were punching him and he falls. But as soon as he fell on the ground, he felt a pain in his ribs. However, the actor did not realise the intensity of the injury at that point and took a painkiller and continued to shoot. Later in the night his pain got unbearable and was taken to a nearby hospital for a detailed checkup.
As per the source, after examining the actor, doctors recommended an X-ray that further stated that Dutt had a hairline fracture. Though the doctor told him to rest for a while, the actor wanted to continue the shoot. Dutt is back to his shooting routine and is busy with back-to-back action sequences for the climax of Bhoomi. As per reports, after his comeback from the injury, the team has shot for another action sequence at Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai and is all set to head to another locations in the city for the shoot.
