Rapper T I, aka Clifford Joseph Harris, is in serious debt as he and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, owe the IRS more than USD 4.5 million in unpaid taxes from 2012 and 2013.
Documents stated that T I owed USD 1,397,283.47 from 2012 and USD 3,173,476.39 from 2013. IRS filed the two tax liens in Georgia earlier this month, reported New York Post.
However, it should not be a problem for the Atlanta rapper. Known for his lavish lifestyle, T I is reportedly worth an estimated USD 215 million.
He was listed as one of the highest-paid rappers of 2015 with an estimated combined earning of USD 75 million.
T I’s representative has commented on the tax liens, saying, “Mr Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter.”
T I owns the label imprint Grand Hustle Records, several stately houses, nine studio albums, clothing companies, restaurants and luxurious cars.
