The cult-classic Baasha of veteran actor Rajinikanth is back to the theatres after a gap of 22 years with its re release on Friday, which has made the fans of the Kabali actor go gaga. Directed by Suresh Krissna, Baasha earlier released in the year 1995. The re release of the movie was earlier suppose to simultaneously take place along with his 66th birthday on December 12, 2016 but due to some problem, things did not pan out as planned.

Baasha is a story that revolves around a rickshaw driver, who is known by the name ‘Manickam’ who is an innocnt and kindhearted man and tries to avoid violence at any cost. Manickam is ready to any extent for the well being of his family members. Things take a turn when his brother who is by profession a cop get in trouble.

People in the state of Tamil Nadu are exploding twitter with the love they have for the superstar and the happiness that they are feeling after the re release of the film after over two decades. Videos showing the happy reactions of the film prove that even after 22 years, the reshness of the film remain in their hearts. Theatres are jam packed and shows are going houseful.
