Rajinikanth’s devoted fans all over India thronged the screens all across to catch the ‘First-day, First-show’ as the Kabali fever rages on after its release on Friday. The plans and ticket bookings started much earlier for the big day to an extent that even online Taxi rental service started giving away offers for early morning rides, since the first shows started at some screens in Chennai as early as 4 in the morning – in the name of Thalaivar! Superstar Rajnikanth’s fandom is beyond comprehension. Fans have flew in from from abroad to Indian theatres to watch ‘Kabali’ on its release day July 22, and sand sang along the already famous ”Neruppu Da”. Hardcore fans, from the working class to the elite, everybody was stoked to catch the glimpse of the movie on the first day and especially the first show. Twitter was abuzz with reactions after the first show.

Not only in Chennai or other cities in the south, fans all across India crowded the screens in the first show in theatres, and the buzz is palpable. Twitter is abuzz with personal reviews and reactions. While hardcore fans does not seem to be disappointed, and many terming the movie as a ‘different Rajni film’ there were a few who did not feel as satisfied as they wanted to be. Many people seemed happy that such an occasion brings people from different classes under one roof. Pa. Ranjith the director of the film, who earlier made ‘Madras’ must be a happy man today, especially when a superstar like Rajnikanth entrusts a new age director with his confidence, fans love it even more. Initial reactions show that it looks to be a ‘paisa wasool’ film and all those who were lucky catch it first, gave a positive verdict. The word-of-mouth publicity is going to add more to the fan frenzy.

Actor Siddharth also couldn’t wait for the FDFS:

With the movie’s initial buzz, positive reactions and never seen before publicity, Kabali seems to take over the three Khans of bollywood.
