Prince Albert of Monaco wants action man Vin Diesel to play him in a new film about his efforts to win a bobsleigh medal at the Winter Olympics.
The European royal, whose late mother was movie icon Grace Kelly, is in talks with moviemaker Garry Marshall over a film project tentatively titled “Royal Ice” – about his efforts to lead a bobsleigh team, reported People magazine.
Albert said the idea came from Mark Thomas, a screenwriter and member of Monaco’s original 1988 bobsleigh team, but he is on board the film, which is planned for cinemas in 2018.
Asked about who will play him in the film, the royal said, “I haven’t really given that much thought, though I hope it would be someone reasonably athletic.
“Maybe Vin Diesel or someone else who is slightly balding?”
