Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for making periodic drama films is coming out with his latest ‘Padmavati’ in the month of December later this year. The film that is based on the life of Rani Padmavati, husband Ratan Singh and Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The film features Deepika Padukone in the main role along with Shahid Kapoor as King of Chittor Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Allaudin Khilji. Their is a lot of buzz about the film which has left the fans wanting more. It recently released the characters first look from the movie, which has had a great impact among the audience. Veteran actor Raza Murad who will be playing the role Jalaluddin Khilji recently released a picture to show his look from the film but surprisingly he deleted it later.
With the movie to release in the next to month, the big question is: was this move by the actor intensional/or an accident. Not just the look, Murad shared the picture along with a caption through his Facebook account saying, “This is my look in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s ‘Padmavati‘. I am playing Jalaluddin Khilji who was the first ruler of Khilji dynasty in India. He ruled India (1290-1296) for six years and was killed by his paternal nephew and son in law, Alauddin Khilji, who took over the throne. Ranveer Singh has played Allaudin Khilji. ‘Padmavati’ is obviously Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor is Rawal Ratan Singh, Ruler of Chittor, Deepika’s husband. The film would be released on 1st December, all over the world.”
Deepika Padukone on September 21, shared her look from the movie with the caption, following which Shahid Kapoor shared his look on September 25. Ranveer Singh who earlier featured 2015 periodic drama, Bajirao Mastani which was also directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on October 3.

The film is all set to hit the silver screen in December 1, 2017. According to Indian Express, the actor went to great lengths to do justice to their roles, so much that Ranveer Singh even isolated himself from all social interactions just to get his character the fierce and evil look as Allaudin Khilji.
