Katrina Kaif has been in the Maldives for the last week for a magazine photoshoot, but has kept fans updated on the fantastic time she’s having there via Facebook. After looking at her photos, we admit we’re a bit jealous. On Sunday, the actress shared a Facebook Live video which showed her cycling around the island and talking about her time there. “I just thought on this Sunday, I would show you where we’re staying and where we’ve been,” she said as she gave fans a glimpse of her beautiful pool-side villa. She added that if she traveled to the Maldives again, she’d take company because the room next to hers was empty.

Since then, the Bodyguard star has been uploading beach pics of herself, sharing her last one yesterday. It shows her in a green bikini and is captioned, “Everyone should believe in something. I believe I should go to the beach.” Clearly, she has taken Dear Zindagi (starring Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt) story to heart and is giving her take on what a young, loaded (figurately and literally speaking), damsel should have as life’s goal and priority!

And while we’re not debating that Katrina sizzles in the shot, we hope that doesn’t actually sum up her entire life’s philosophy. Another photo showed the model-turned-actress in a green outfit. Katrina’s clearly enjoying her time in the water, as she quoted French novelist Anaïs Nin, writing, “I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living.” Katrina is visiting the island to complete a bridal shoot assignment.
