Bollywood film-maker Karan Johar took his babies Yash Johar and Roohi Johar home from the hospital on Wednesday. Johar’s kids were in a suburban Mumbai hospital where they were been admitted at the NICU since their birth on February 7. The babies were born through surrogacy and they spent over 50 days in the hospital as they were born premature. In March, Karan Johar took to Twitter to reveal about his twins. And as a tribute to his own parents, he has named his kids – Yash and Roohi.
Recently, the filmmaker in a post on social media said that he intends to bring his children up with his mother Hiroo’s help. Karan took to Twitter and wrote a poignant letter about fatherhood, and said, “My mother and I remain eternally grateful from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and care that was given to Roohi and Yash Johar.” Talking about the premature babies Karan added, “Millions of preemies are born every year… but babies are resilient. With the right kind of care, they stand just as good a chance of survival as anyone else.” Karan further wrote, “If your baby is a preemie, don’t be discouraged. Seek help… Don’t lose faith, don’t lose heart.”
