This much-awaited film has been compared with some of the great Hollywood films like the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Harry Potter series, and here is why Baahubali 2, an emotional drama that will give you goosebumps, will beat the box office collections of Baahubali 1:
1. Exceptional performance by cast: SS Rajamouli film stars Prabhas as Baahubali, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Anushka Shetty as Devasena and Rana Daggubati as Bhallala Deva. The actors performed really well in the previous instalment and for the fans, the biggest disappointment of Baahubali was a cameo of Anushka Shetty as she made a limited appearance in the first part. However, this time she has stolen the show in the role of a younger Maharani Devasena. Rana Daggubati unleashed the unabashed power as Bhallala Deva and showcased his beastly side, but the superhero – Baahubali – played by Prabhas carried the story on his shoulders and the king acted just like the soul of the movie.
2. Spectacular VFX scenes: When the first part was released it made a lot of news due to the stunning VFX. The second part left the audiences wanting to know the answers to many intriguing plot points and got them glued to the seats as never-before-seen visual graphics were showcased. Mahishmati kingdom looks more spectacular and the graphic setting is just perfect for a fantasy period drama. The graphics will make the viewer feel like as its near-real.
3. Thrill-a-minute fight sequences: An action film is only as good as its villain and in this, the technicians worked immensely well on the fighting sequel. And it won’t be wrong to say that Baahubali 2 became India’s mix of ‘The Gladiator’ and ‘300’. Some of the fight sequences were just breathtaking and the final face-off made the film more interesting than any part of the entire film which actually received a lot of whistles in the theatre!
4. Top intrigue and mystery: The million-dollar-question that haunted people for last two years, ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’, was finally revealed. The first part ended on a cliffhanger with Kattappa who was the trusted aide, killed the king Amarendra Baahubali. The final and conclusive part focuses on Shivudu’s quest to find the answer to this question.
