Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for his new TV show Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch which will premiere in October. The show has an amazing line-up of speakers from different fields who will look to inspire people. The list just got better with the addition of Google CEO Sundar Pichai, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama. The report stated that the episode with Pichai was shot on Monday, August 28. However, there is a twist in the tale. The Google CEO didn’t come to India to shoot this episode. In fact, he attended a virtual interactive session with Shah Rukh Khan.
This session took place between Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai and Sundar Pichai who teleported from California (Palo Alto) via Beam, a telepresence robot. This isn’t the first time when SRK had an interactive session with the Google CEO. Earlier, while promoting his film Happy New Year, Shah Rukh, along with the other cast members had an interesting chat session with Sundar Pichai at Googleplex. Meanwhile, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor and Javed Akhtar have already shot their episodes for TED Talks India.
Karan Johar who is also a very good friend of Shah Rukh took to Instagram to reveal that he shot an episode. He was in fact, the first speaker to shoot for the show. According to a report by The Indian Express, Karan will be speaking about changing relationships on the show.
“Karan and SRK were at ease and their camaraderie was clearly visible during the episode. SRK started the shoot by having a fun and insightful conversation about Karan and their friendship. Post that KJo took centerstage and enthralled the live audience with his talk which was not just motivating but also witty and emotional,” a source close to the show as quoted saying by IE earlier this month.
