Along with making his fans laugh and cry through the decades, we all know about Salman Khan’s passion for the fine art of painting. Recently, the 51-year-old actor was busy, shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Tubelight’ and it has already became the talk of the town due to its teaser and then generated an exceptional response with the trailer. However, Salman is grabbing eye-balls for a work of art of another kind – the one where you wield the brush to move the audience rather than with on-screen theatrics. In fact, Salman’s performance with his paint brush has taken a lot of attention away from his new movie. Yes, as per a report by Indian Express, the Sultan actor has recently made a masterpiece – a painting of Jesus Christ while he was working on the sets of Tubelight.
The entire cast and crew of the movie were in awe of Salman’s artwork and a lot of them were even amazed when they came to know about his hidden talent. However, this is not for the first time that Salman has made a painting of a religious figure.
It is being said that Salman discovered his love for painting during his stint in jail and over the past few years he has restricted his sketching work to religious themes and artworks that reflects rendition of God. Social media has given us the chance to see some of Salman’s masterpieces and it can surely be said that his paintings are quite good and that this particular oen is not a one-off.
Salman’s house in Panvel in Mumbai is the actual warehouse where he keeps most of his paintings locked up, and many a times he also gifts them to his loved ones. He also auctions some of them to collect funds for his NGO – Being Human.

Currently, the actor is busy in completing the final leg of shoots of Tubelight which is all set to hit theaters on June 23. Produced by Salma Khan and Salman himself, Tubelight is a story about a man named Laxman and his brother (Sohail Khan) who is an army officer. Sohail goes missing during the war and the plot of the movie largely revolves around Laxman’s quest for his missing brother. Apart from Salman and Sohail, the movie also features actors like late Om Puri, Chinese actor Zhu Zhu and Zeeshan Ayub. Even Shah Rukh Khan has done a cameo in the film. Both Salman and Shah Rukh will be sharing the screen after a gap of 10 long years.
