The female cast of the upcoming film ‘Ghostbusters’ cheered sick children at a Boston hospital by greeting them in a surprise visit.
Cast members Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones visited the Tufts Medical Center donned in their ghost-fighting costumes to delight the poor youngsters, the Mirror reported.
Expressing their gratitude, the staff of the hospital said that the visit of ‘Ghostbusters’ stars has cheered the patients and were grateful to them for taking out their time for them.
The hospital shared photos from the visit on its Facebook and Twitter pages and wrote that it was “lovely idea,” with one person writing “we should all be doing things like this”.
One Facebook user wrote “Thanks to the Ghostbusters cast and crew for helping to make this happen. Lots of happy kids and families today.”
