Emma Stone has recently revealed that Emma Stone suffered from “crippling” panic attacks as a kid.

The 26-year-old told the Wall Street Journal that she struggled with anxiety as a child which led her to believe bad things were happening, Contactmusic has reported.

The ‘Birdman’ actress mentioned that the first time she suffered the attack, she was in her friend’s house and thought the house was burning down, so she called her mom who brought her home, but for the next three years it just did not stop.

She would ask her mom to tell her exactly how the day was going to be, then ask it again after 30 seconds, just to be sure that no one was going to die and nothing was going to change, Stone further added.

The American actress has previously stated that acting helped reduce her anxiety.

I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks since I was in the 8th grade, during those years I have also developed social anxiety and even talking to people triggers panic attacks! Some days are better than other and some days are worse. Recently I have found something that helps me to cope with the anxiety and control my panic attacks to a certain extent. Although it does not cure my attacks It has really helped me improve. When you have a chance I would recommend you take a look at It is a good read, I hope I helped somebody else out there! :)

I've suffered from anxiety, depression and panic attacks for as long as I can remember, at one point was so bad that I was spending all my day contemplating suicide and the part that angered me the most was the fact that I couldn't sleep andthe severe insomnia almost drove me mad. Only a couple months ago I come across a review about a programcalled the Thought Elevators program it contains some meditation techniques that helped me to get rid of depression, now I fell more confident, happy and for the first time in many years I can say that I am happy to be alive If someone is interested you can read a honest review (in my opinion at least) at: Panic attacks are like someone is literally crushing you hearth with hishand, and the worst part is that most of the time I didn't know why I had a panic attack, and I think this book can help you change your mindset in order to achieve success
