After failing to recognize Deepika earlier this year, the international tabloid Daily Mail called her ‘Bollywood Blunder’.
In the stars studded evening, Deepika paraded the red carpet in olive green draped skirt with a thigh-high slit, paired with an embellished bralette ensembled by Jaising. The attire was a fusion of edgy trends with Indian aesthetics, for which Jaising is known for. The dress was accompanied by black heels and huge Valliyan earrings matching the colour of her skirt.
Deepika completed her look with smokey eyes and a nude lipstick along with a side-parted low ponytail. Her look was projecting her character, Serena, in her Hollywood debut movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
Though with that stunning look, nobody can fail to notice the arrival of Deepika Padukone, however, it failed to impress the fashion-gurus of the tabloid. Daily Mail not only featured her among the ‘Worst Dressed Celebs’, but also tagged her as a ‘Bollywood blunder’.
Daily Mail’s exact words read: “Bollywood blunder: Indian actress Deepika Padukone may be stunning but her swamp green bralet and skirt combo did nothing for her sensational figure.”
