In the wake of Paris attacks, Bob Dylan has demanded twelve armed guards for an upcoming gig in Italy.
The 74-year-old Bob Dylan has demanded to beef -up the security at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna, following the death of 89 people by terrorists during Eagles of Death Metal’s show at Le Bataclan in Paris, The Independent reports.
According to sources, the twelve armed guards had been deployed at the venue’s two entrances as well as on stage and backstage.
Confirming the request, Giorgio Zagnoni, artistic director said it was the first time when an artist has asked for extra security but is “more than understandable”.
Earlier, music bands such as U2 and Foo Fighters have cancelled their performance in the wake of Paris attacks.
