Zubair Khan, the Bigg Boss 11 contestant who recently got evicted from the house, has made fresh claims about his relationship with terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. Khan, lashing out at reports linking him with the underworld, told the Indian Express that he has never claimed to be a relative of Dawood and that his wife is Sana Khan, and her mother is named Noor Jahan. Apart from the latest claims, the filmmaker has reportedly filed a complaint against Salman Khan for insulting him and threatening him on TV.
Moreover, Zubair also alleged that his name was misused by Colors and other media houses that “I was Haseena Parkar’s son-in-law.” Zubair said: “Never have I mentioned this anywhere in my interview that I am associated with Dawood Ibrahim. I don’t know why people are accusing me of lying.” Zubair added that for years, his in-laws have been threatening him with their supposed association with D-company. “In my weeklong stay, I demand that the channel releases any video where I mentioned I am related to them or even threatened anyone,” Zubair said. He added that he has always maintained his identity of being a filmmaker and never have told anyone that he is a don.
Recently, Zubair became the first eviction of Bigg Boss 11. In a dramatic ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode on Saturday, actor-host Salman Khan showed up in his most furious avatar and lambasted Zubair for his atrocious behaviour with fellow contestants. As per reports, Zubair was even hospitalised after the episode.
